Millions of our kababayans have to stay home to help contain the Coronavirus. In response, more organisations are helping to provide food for our neighbours who need it the most. With more support and solidarity among leaders and companies, we are hopeful that we can flatten the curve.
The ICCP Group together with its affiliate companies, Science Park of the Philippines Inc., Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation, and Hermosa Ecozone Development Corporation was quick to respond to help keep the people healthy and safe during these challenging times.
On April 5, 2020, 680 sacks of rice were distributed to 17 baranggays and host communities in the provinces of Laguna, Batangas and Bataan.
Family beneficiaries came from the barangays of Calamba and Cabuyao cities in Laguna and Sto. Tomas in Batangas city; and host barangays in the municipalities of Malvar, Batangas and Hermosa, Bataan.
Repacking and distribution was done by the respective barangays for around 200 households.
